Jason Chu
Managing Director
Jason Chu is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. Jason has advisory experience in different areas, mergers and acquisitions, development of sophisticated financial models, business valuations, valuations of intangible assets (including trademarks, customer relationships and technologies), and valuations of financial instruments.
Jason has been providing financial advisory services to clients engaging in different industries including healthcare, technology, media and telecommunication, food and beverage, retail, manufacturing, utilities, direct sales, real estate, education as well as private equity sectors.
Before the directorship in ValQuest, Jason had worked in a Big 4 CPA firm for years.
Chris Tan
Managing Director
Chris Tan is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters degree in Financial Mathematics. Prior to ValQuest, Chris ran the Business Valuation department of a listed company in Hong Kong as an Executive Director for several years. Chris also worked in the valuation department of a Big 4 audit firm.
Chris has over 10 years of extensive experience in the valuation of businesses, natural resources, intangible assets, financial instruments for various purposes, such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offering, financing, due diligence, etc.
Chris has also acted as the Expert Witness for several court cases.
Eva Ng
Associate Director
Eva Ng holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant.
Eva has over 7 years of experience in the valuation field industry, with a focus on business valuation, intangible asset valuation, preference share valuation, financial instrument valuation and investment portfolio valuation, both for transaction and financial reporting purposes. Eva has also assisted in the preparation of the fairness opinion of a gaming company delisted from Nasdaq.
Eva has advised her clients in a range of industries, including licensed corporations, technology, healthcare, energy, TMT, etc.
Before joining ValQuest, Eva served as a Director of another valuation firm, and also a manager of the valuation department of a Big 4 audit firm.
